Chief Architect for Mozilla and inventor of JavaScript, listed "Accelerate and optimise the SVG effort" as a key requirement in his Mozilla Futures dev-day slides. He also mentioned hardware accelleration on Quartz, OpenGL, and GDI+.
Siemens CX65 phone ships with SVG Tiny
Zoomon announced that the Siemens CX65 phone ships as standard with their SVG Tiny viewer. The triband GSM, GPRS phone is available in the European, Asia-Pacific, and Latin American markets. (more details)
